Hello everyone, in this post I will tell you about my future job. I study geography, geography examines the reciprocal relationships and distribution of physical-natural phenomena, following the principle of coordination. This means that I will leave university with knowledge and skills of a territorial dimension. In the future I would like to focus on the treatment and analysis of territorial information, management of natural spaces, sustainability strategies, emergency plans and risk prevention. For this I must specialize my knowledge in geographic information systems, remote sensing, photogrammetry, statistics and production of basic information. I want to work a little outdoors and a little indoors because to study geographical space it is always good to go out, however, I am not very clear if my career will allow me to travel a lot. Hello everyone, in this post I will talk about voting. I think the elections are important to keep the hope of making changes in the country. It is very important to go to vote because it was a right that was denied to women for a long time and there were women who died fighting for this right. In my opinion, electoral campaigns are necessary to deliver information about the people who are running for public office. For these reasons I am going to vote in the next presidential elections. On the other hand, I would not like to run for public office due to lack of knowledge in politics. I believe that a person who wants to be president must respect human rights, respect international treaties and have clear and realistic proposals. In addition, I believe that the electoral campaigns in my district and throughout the country should be carried out exclusively in a virtual way so as not to increase the contamination with the propaganda that is put on the streets. Hello everyone, in this post I will tell you about my favorite children's show. My favorite children's program is 31 minutos. It is a news program without much prestige and all its characters are puppets, the program shows the adventures of the team and something unexpected always happens. The show notes are educational and many deliver an ethical message, while others are quite ridiculous. The presenter is Tulio Triviño Tufillo, but my favorite character is the journalist Juan Carlos Bodoque. This is the show's star journalist, he's a red rabbit and he's in charge of the environmental issues section called La Nota Verde. Hello everyone, in this post I'll tell you about the best concert I have attended The best concert I attended was not a concert, but the Lollapalooza Chile 2019 festival, it was the ninth version of the festival and it took place on Friday March, 29th, 2019 at Parque O'Higgins. It is the most important music festival held in Chile and I like it because it has a large number of talented artists and can be enjoyed all day in a large and well-equipped park for those attending the event. Hello everyone, in this post I will tell you about the worst place I've been. The worst place I've been is "El Gran Concepción", a conurbation around the capital of Bío Bío that was the second most important city, it had prosperous ports, beautiful beaches and the "zona roja". However, over time the culture disappeared, forestry, fishing, paper mills and polluting industries in general were introduced, poverty rates increased, crime increased and the aesthetics of the city worsened. Hello everyone, in this post I will talk about my favorite book My favorite book is "Como agua para chocolate", it is a novel written by Laura Esquivel, she is my favorite writer. The story is about the life of Tita, her loves and her relationship with her family, all related to the importance of cooking and typical Mexican recipes of the time in which her life unfolds. It’s a “realismo mágico” novel and is mainly about the love between Tita and Pedro. The characters are very traditional because the story takes place in 1989 and, in addition to being a romantic story, it’s very tragic due to various events. Hello everyone, In this post I’ll talk about a photograph that I like This photograph shows a strange individual, it seems to have the face of an ant, but its eight legs indicate that it is a spider. It is a crab spider that mimics an ant. I read that there are many species of spiders that mimic the appearance and behavior of other species and infiltrate the colonies of their victims, so this spider was probably eating clueless ants. I really like photography because I find it funny to see the spider in disguise and on its face you can see an expression of surprise or disappointment, I think it knew they discovered his deception. Hello everyone, in this post I will talk about my favorite TV shows. I watch a lot of television shows, so I find it difficult to choose my favorites, but for this post I will. My two favorite television shows are "Jane the Virgin" and "The Good Place". "Jane the Virgin" tells the story of Jane Villanueva and is about Jane being pregnant after being artificially inseminated by mistake. While "The Good Place" centers on Eleanor Shellstrop who lived as a bad person and when she died was accidentally sent to the good place, this place is a utopia in which good people are rewarded. Hello everyone, In this post I'll talk about my favorite piece of technology. My favorite piece of technology is the smartphone because these can multitask and it's easy to take with you everywhere. My smartphone is the only technology that I use every day. Everyone I Know uses a smartphone, these devices work like a small computer, store large amounts of data, and have the functions of a phone, calculator, watch and computer. I had my first smartphone when I was fifteen years old and used it all the time on social media, but now I use it to search for information, communicate with my friends or answer e-mails. Hello everyone, In this post I'll talk about my choice of study program. As a child I wanted to be an archaeologist, I was fan of Indiana Jones, I wanted to search for objects of historical importance to humanity and face the curses associated with these objects, then I understood that archeology was not really about that, so I didn't think about professions until I was forced to think about it. After a long time, when I applied to university, I chose geography because I like to study the relationship and distribution of natural social phenomena and manage computer systems, in the future I would like to work with geographical information systems in environmental emergency plans, to prevent natural and sanitary risks. Also when I entered university, I was sure that I would enter this program and I did not think of other options and now I really like the program and the peaceful coexistence among the students if this faculty. My name is Muriel, I was born in 1997 and I live in Lampa, I studied in five different schools and now I'm studying geography at the Universidad de Chile. At university, I made new friends and adapted to the new place, I'm now in my third year, then I have to study for at least another two years.
